Can not properly disconnect iphone from bluetooth with out disconnecting
When I am in my car talking on the bluetooth on my iphone and i am about to get out of the car. I pressed audio sources on my iphone so that i can route my call to the headset and once i do that it goes route to my headset but once I open the door in my Ml mercedes it disconnects the phone call from my headset. How can I stop this from happeneing is anyone else having this same problem?
Let me chime in a bit more in detail here...
I bought a 2009 ML350 with the Premium II package (really sweet ride!) and everything worked out just fine with the exception of this gosh-darn Bluetooth pairing/hanging up dealio (just as the OP described above).
So I took the car back to Euro Motorcars yesterday and told them about the issue. I had to explain three times what the issue is. This afternoon, the service manager told me that after troubleshooting the issue with three other technicians, he had not a clue as to what could be causing the problem but he's got calls in to the "higher-ups at corporate". I picked up the car this afternoon since there wasn't anything more he could do without insight from corporate and the loaner GL350 was getting under my skin.
When I got home, I grabbed my wife's Blackberry and paired it up and guess what??? Same friggin' thing!
Something tells me that they're just gonna let my paperwork collect dust unless I make a stink about this.
HELP!

- Made a call
- car picked up the audio
- turned off the car
- phone hung up.

So after getting absolutely nowhere with the dealership that sold me the car, I call up Mercedes and got it straight from the horse's mouth. THIS IS HOW THE UNIT PERFORMS.
Apparently there have been complaints and they've escalated the issue with their engineering department, but there are no fixes in the foreseeable future.
Now the question remains....
Do I turn back in the car and go back to Audi?
This really blows because otherwise I really love this car

Thanks for letting me know the results. I figured it was something like that because I have three mercedes an ml, slk, and e class and have had two iphones 3gs and 4 and with all these variables have yielded the same result each time. You time you take over 50 k for a vehicle that could at least get something this simple right. My bluetooth in my old lexus IS did not do this.
