hi i have a 270 cdi ml 2002 which has a rattle coming from the air con pump when the engine is on idle and air con switched off. when you switch the air con on the noise stops i cant see anything wrong or loose and it doesnt seem to have a clutch on the pulley the noise can be quite loud but air con works fine anyone got any ideas ?
