98 ml320 can't unlock from inside

Default 98 ml320 can't unlock from inside
Just purchased a 98 ml320. The central lock switch on the console will lock all doors but will not UNLOCK any. No owner's manual either. All lock work fine from remote. Any suggestions?

Can anyone direct me to a pdf or other online resource for an owner's manual?

I had a failure in that rocker switch cluster, they had to replace the entire switch group as they are all on one board.
