My Screen cracked.

Found an auto wrecker that has a few in stock.
asking about 500.00 each.

few questions:
1) How do I replace it myself. any link to a DIY.
2) Does the New Deck have to be coded to the vehicle by going to the dealer.
3) Can I buy the entire unit from the wrecker, and just replace the screen portion of it only?
4) The Radio Code is matched to the Radio or the vehicle?
