Hi, I have a 2001 ml with a cd changer in the back. I have a cd changer in there but the wiring is not long enough to plug the cd changer in. It is factory wiring and the cd changer is mercedes but i think out of a different model. same plug and it works when i plug in but when mount in back the wire is not long enough to reach. Do they make an extension wire for this or can i cut the wire and make my own extension? Is this a special fiberoptic wire or one that if i cut wont work later? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
