Default 2000 ML430. OEM or Aftermarket?

Hi guys. New to this forum and like the info so far. I just bought this truck. It has 53K on it. I need brakes. Should I use MB or aftermarket? Also, dealer said I should change the plugs (5 years or 100k). Same question. Also, should the wires or anything else be changed? Dont want to wait till theres a problem. Thanks in advance.

Congrats on yor ML purchase Stay on top of your maintenance. Akebono/ or Brembois a excellent replacement pad. As for the spark plugs get them from your Mercedes dealership. you will need 16 plugs they cost 15.00 -20.00 a plug.

Hey if you have any mechanical know how at all do the brakes your self. There are alot of after market products out there and if you dig around in here a little there is a wealth of information on this website to help you. Good luck and congrats on the ride; enjoy.
