RE: 1999 ML320 CLUSTER LIGHTS OUT
I had a 1998 ML320 so I assume the cluster light setup is the same. The bulbs are small and prone to damage so if you are replacing1 or 2, I would suggest replacing all of them approx. 5 or 6 as you have to remove the whole cluster to get at them. The plastic panels on either side of the steering column have to be snapped off(pull straight out) to gain access to the retaing nuts that hold the cluster in. Once the nuts are off, carefully reach behind and release the speedo so you can get the cluster out to replace all the bulbs. If you have the dealer do it, labour is probably $100.00 plus $5.00-6.00for each bulb.
