2 weeks ago the abs/esp/bas/ets lights came on, but nothing wrong with the drive. After a few days of lights on, the car began bouncing when first accelerating, until about 45 mph, then it would smoothe out; then bounce again when braking.

The bouncing has intensified over the last few days. Please help!

 

Hi I have an ML 430 and have the same problem with ETS/ABS/BAS lights on. I dont have any bouncing issues but the warning lights are on for a couple of days then they go off for a day or so and go on again. Any help to pinpoint the problem

My first guess would be to replace the brake pedal switch (only $12 at the dealer and 5 minutes of your time). I had these 3 lights to come on 2 years ago and after replacing this switch and reseting the ETS system by turning the steering wheel from lock to lock, never had them to come on since. When I opened up the switch, one electrical contact inside of it was broken off.

 

check tire sizes. if they are differnt could cause an issue. the traction control thinks a wheel is slipping and is trying to correct it.
