I'm tring to replace the brake light on my ML 500. I removed the nuts on the tail-light assembly and loosned the cover, can't pull it straight off. It seems loose, but won't come off. Anyone know just how it pops off?

Just has the two nuts actually. Then pull towards the rear of the car. There will be a ball inside of a rubber grommet thats holding it, just wiggle it a bit.

 

my dad was planning to changed his tail light cover on his '01 C320 sedan..im not a technical person so i don't have any idea h0w to remove it without leaving scrapes..the manuals doesn't seem to show any infos on it.
