Aftermarket tow hitch?

MercedesPartsPeople.com have a set for about $800. I'm not sure what exactly is a good price for them.
There was a recall for the 2005-2008 ML and GL tow hitches where the hitch would separate from the mounting bar and cause dangerous towing situation. That recall was put out in 2008 and the dealership was suppose to repair them for free. I'm not sure what they mean by repar exactly as usually recalls involves replacement or something like that. That recall might have killed off many of the aftermarket tow hitch supply as a result.
