Default Will a 2000 e430 autotrans fit a 97 e320

My car is a 1997 e320 with a 08/96 prod date. Are they the same transmissions, or are there any other years/models that will fit my 97? Does anyone have a tranny part number for a 1997 E320 with my 08/96 production date? Thanks

to specify the type, you need to give the first 6 numbers.... 722.*** where asterisk stands for the next number, (for example: 722.532, 722.413...)

but any transmission with the first four numbers can be used (722.*).
