Hi everyone i have a mercedes E220 yr 00.In the morning when i sstart the engine ther is first a white smoke that comes out of the exhaust pipe then there is a black one.Is this a problem?

 

If the white smoke comes out right when you start the car and then never comes out again you have worn valve guides. It would just be a quick puff and then nothing if it is worn guides.

There is no quick fix on a Mercedes for this. The guides would have to be replaced.

The black smoke is the engine running rich so you need your air/fuel adjusted.

Thanks sam but ive noticed that its only when the car is on park and i accelerate that there is the white smoke.I think its because the engine is cold
