Default Weird tire pressure message

I have an 08 E350 and about 12,200 miles. I'm due for my first oil change at 13k miles. Yesterday, there I got a message when I turned of my car "check tire pressure" So I think its probably a flat tire due to a nail because tires don't just lose air. But I checked today, and the tires don't look flat and when I start and turn off my car, the message is gone. Has this ever happened to anyone before?
Also, do we have run-flat tires (18 inch sport package).
thanks!

It is a common message in these cars. Most of the time the message shows up after yo left the car parked in a place where some of the tires are exposed to the sun and the rest are under a shadow. After a while it desapears by itself. Run flat tires also has a ZP (Zero Pressure) tag. I just bought a new set ofMichelin Pilot Sport A/s ZP 245/45/17 ZP, they are great but the handling is inferior compared to the regular tires of that model.
