Default warning lights

Thought I would try another title
symptoms are
1]pulsing brake pedal at stoplights
2]intermittent ABS light
3]faint glow from all warning lamps intermittent but more with headlights on
Fixes attempted
1]new battery
2]alternator tested to 14.2 volts
3]replaced steering angle sensor
4]replaced rear axle speed sensor
5]replaced stop lamp switch
6]replace ABS relay
7]replaced OVP relay
8]renewed engine compartment grounds and connectors
9]inspected wiring harness under air cleaner
Anyone have a new idea?

Even though ur alt tested ok that when ur caris idle. It sounds like ur alt isnt holding the charge. had the same exact problem. ABS sensor is clear indication its either battery not holding or alternator not properly charging and holding charge. change battery see wut happens. bypass the alt and use a new battery see what happens if u keep going with no prob til battery dies then u know.

Default RE: warning lights

problem solved, the stator on the alternator was rusting apart.A detailed post about alternators led me to test for AC voltage at idle and I got 30 volts!!There is much discussion about this resulting from diode failure but my diodes were fine.
Moral is a charging alternator is not necessarily a healthy alternator, mine charged fine and lights did not dim etc but the quality of the power or lack thereof was causing lots of gremlins. Thanks for the responses I got, hope this helps someone else Bill
