Turn signal stuck on

Turn signal stuck on
Hi,
I was getting into my car ('02 e320) this morning and hit the turn signal with my knee, now it will not turn off. I can turn the right signal on, but in the neutral position the left signal is on.
I am hoping someone has experienced this before and can help me with an easy fix.
