I Have mercedes E240 1998 model. My car transmission oil mixed wtih water due ridiator leak. I had overhauled the gearbox, changed valvebody, clutches and pump. After overhaul my car runs only for 10 minutes after that stop moving it accelerate but gear is not enganging. Later found drop of pressure even no pressure. Can any one help me what may be the reason.

 

what pressure? system, modulating or governor?

what transmission? 722.3,4,5 or 6?

you mean it will engage but will not shift?

 

I removed the pressure line which is connected to radiator for cooling have no pressure after two minute of engine run.
Is there any possibility pump suction line is blocked.

 

that's only lubricating pressure.

It is the system pressure. which move the pressure plate of clutch plates
