Default Thinking about trading my BMW for E class tomorrow

I have always driven BMW's and i love the cars but hate the dealers and out here in SLC, there isn't really anyone that will work on these cars. I'm trading in my X5 4.4 that has been nothing but problems. I think I found a good deal on this car, hopefully someone can let me know. It's a 2007E350 4 matic with the sports package. The sports package really makes this car in my opinion, the wheels and ground effects. So they want 37.800 and it still under all the warranties. What year did they change the body style on this car? was it 2007 or 2003? Thank you
Melania

For the W211 they kinda changed it twice. 03 was the beginning of the W211 in American and in 07 they changed it with a more sharper front. How many miles on the 07 E? The dealers you are always going to pay more. How long is the warrenty for?

although I wouldn't have a BMW X anything....those are not BMW's, they are fancy Ford SUV's, I am ashamed of BMW for even selling those pieces but I reckon they felt they had to what with Americas lunacy back then...cliff

You say you wouldn't do that however, you didn't say why you wouldn't. Also BMW x5 are nothing like a ford. Have you ever driven one? and also the 3.0 are garbage but the ones like I had the 4.4 and 4.8 ford couldn't come close to making something that nice and with that much power. It was like driving a sports car. I really wanted to know more about the vehicle I'm thinking of buying 07 e350 4 matic with sports package for right around 37

It's only worth $34,000 and you could pick up a low mile facelift 02 w210 for a third of the price, fully loaded and more reliable.
They have nicer body lines, fewer problems, and in two years while your 07 is still financed at 38grand and only worth 25grand you won't be kicking yourself in the ***.
Just my own opinion of the w211

A 2007 E350 with sport package is a nice ride. With all warranties in place it could be a trouble free experience. I donĀ“t know if you really need the 4matic when living in Salt Lake City, itĀ“s heavy, makes the car slower and consumes more gas. At 37k price is a little high. As onlord says you will loose a bunch of $ in a period of time, but hey... that happens in all cars. If you like the acceleration of your X5 4.4 choose the e500 or e550 instead. Remenber that in about a year there will be a completely redesigned 2010 E class car.

Thanks. I ended up getting the 550 4matic with the sports package. We get alot of snow here in SLC, however, I have had cars that were just front wheel drive and did just fine most days, however, I actually live up a canyon so it's a whole other weather pattern up here, we get triple the snow and I had a hard time getting up the hill in my X5 a few times. I got a great deal on this car and even though it's not typically what I would go out and buy I'm happy with the deal. I just don't know as much about Mercedes as I do BMW but unfortunatly for me, the BMW dealer out here in Murry is the worst to work with so I went Mercedes. My favorites are the CLS or the SL and I like the S series as well. When I can get whatever I want I will get one of those totally loaded with the AMG sports package. Today I think my choice would be the CLS, that's a sweet ride.
