My car is a 2000 E320 when I start the car if there is no one in the passenger seat the airbag off light is not on. when someone sits in the seat the airbag off light goes on. Is this happening because the car thinks i have a child seat in it? i read of some system in the manual that sounds similar to this. Is there a way to disable this? or do you think it is something else?
