Default speed limiter

I plan on running my E320 W210 at this years www.texasmile.com

Does anyone know where I can get a chip that will bypass the speedlimiter?

I called Upsolute, and it increases HP, but not the speedlimiter.

I sent an e-mail to Renntech, and havent recieved a reply yet. Their website doesnt talk specifically about speedlimiters. Only an ECU package for $1295.

Thanks

Robert

Years ago I had a dispute with Mercedes hot line about limiters.
That seems to be some kind of conspiracy, since nobody officially new about it.
All I've got was "this is the way the come"
Finally I used argument about taking my Mercedes to a country, that doesn't have ridiculous speed limits and the technician offered me a phone number to the aftermarket company, that can deal with it. Didn't save it, but I remember it being in Florida.
Call the hotline ans ask about recommendation.

Will the MB dealer do this? Will a MB independant shop do this? What do you think?

That was few years back, but my MB "specialists" have been surprised to hear from me, that there is a limiter. And that was the biggest MB dealer in the area.
I guess nobody complained not going faster, than 115 MPH before?
Good luck to you.
Try to keep it quiet. Government is watching.

yeah I can do that for you, you'll have to send me the ECU though. It takes about 30 mins, we'll increase the power and raise the speedlimiter to what ever you like or just remove it as a whole. we'll also remove all the other restrictions in the ECU and give you an increase of about 16-19hp depending on the octane in your area , you'll notice a huge change in the way the car drives.... I do this full time. You can call me on (510) 656 5937 and we can discuss the price (don't worry its not much), the web page will be up and running by 10/17/05 www.singhautosport.com
