I have a 320E 1995 . It was making a whistle noise. The mechanic said I need a new smog pump, just wanted to check that it runs about $ 1200 . parts & labor ? Thanks !

 

You can buy a rebuilt one online for btw $200 - 400. I just bought one and am going to install it myself. It's a fairly simple swap out.
