saggy rear end 2005 E320
Hi all, this is my first post here, I have worked on cars all my life but never an airlift suspension that I appear to have in my E320 Wagon. I haven't jacked it up, but I'm hoping I can get some advice before I do just based on the symptoms. The left rear is sagging down and we have audible air leaking when the car is turned off. I suppose it's the air shock (if that's what it's called) but wondering how I can determine that definitely. I gather there are compressors, one for each wheel or less than that?
The part looks at little spendy from FCP Euro, maybe you all can recommend the best place to shop for this car as well. I asked the local shop to have a look just to diagnose but they said they don't work on these suspensions which begs the question; is this a really tough job? I don't have a lift but I've rebuilt rear ends before, at least all the suspension components and hubs/bearings on my 2017 Ford Flex and various VW's and Volvo's over the years.
Thanks in advance for your input,
drGian
