How do you remove the 6 cd changer from a 2007 350 E ? I've tryed the two screws on the side, that didn't work. Has anyone installed a pidgeon hole in place of the changer? What do I need to order from the dealer. They didn't really know for sure. Thanks for the help!

 

ashtray need to come out. then remove the screws for the changer. but youll have to unplug 2 plugs at the bottom and also unplug the fiber optics harness. then youll beable to pull out the changer. but now since your remoeving the changer you need to loop the fiberoptics otherwise your radio wont work.

 

Thanks was looking for just that answer, is there a way to have the cd changer retractable door stay open indefinitely, until closed manually and also is there a specific fiber optic loopback for the w211 that should be used? I’m thinking of installing a stand alone 7 inch foldout touch screen in the cd changer slot.
