Hi, sorry to hear you got problem with u car but here it is, if it is white smoke - engine block need seals replacement, if is blue- it needs new rings, either way my friend find a European auto mechanic because dealers will rape you. Good luck!

Hi, I think u better off going to some one other than the Mercedes dealer and get a quote, I purchase my e350 last month from a reputable auction place in NJ, my friend is a Dealer but I hope I have better luck. Iam not sure of your location but in Philadelphia area there are lots of mechanic certify on Mercedes d they are much cheaper. I was told by "just answers.com" that I may need a newNAV box in the trunk, $500 bucks, but I was lucky to have a smart father-in-law and it rooked couple of seconds at $0 dollars, yet dealer was getting ready to take my money. Good luck my friend.

Default Philly/South Jersey Mechanics

I noticed quite a lot of white smoke in my rear view mirror tonight but only when I floored it at around 35-40 and the transmission downshifted a few gears. The smoke cloud was hard to miss in the headlights of the cars following me. Where can I find a good MB mechanic in Philly/Cherry Hill area to check out my car? I have a 1999 E300 with about 120k miles.

Hi, sorry to see you having problem with your car, I have an E350 and I had good experience with two places, they both in Philadelphia and they are fair in pricing, the first is right off Bridge Street off 95 the guy name is Alex of NK Autoshop address 5613 Tulip St, 215-900-8634, the shop is in back one way street so you may have a little trouble finding it because of the way the stree is set up. The other one is EUROPEAN AUTO right off on Tomlison Rd take Red Lyon Rd turn right if you coming from the Bldv go couple of block around the bend on left there is a fense-in werehouse like complex second entrance go in strait and it will be the second shop you will see lots of Mercedes and other EURO cars, good luck. Tell them Nelson from ZmotorZ motor send you. CHEERS!
