HI Tony
Had to go to Merc dealers Diagnostic £47:50 fault pressure converter part number MAOOO 545 05 27 price £69:50 labour £47:50 ALL THIS PLUS V.A.T. But well worth it problem solved. Dont know exactly where this part goes but must be quite easy to fit as it only took less than 30 minutes to fit ( i think it is a plastic valve which fits on the small intake air pipe) sorry could not be more exact but i am sure if you go to Merc parts stores they will help you. Hope this solves your problem .TAXIMAN

there is a bunch of different things that could cause this problem some to check really fast is. is there any air in those clear plastic fuel lines by the fuel filter if there is replace all of them then check to see if you still have this problem
