I had many issues with my 96 E320 210 with the air cond not blowing cold, left side blowing warmer, and when at idle blowing hot. I had replaced the comp, Drier, Drier lines, & expansion valve. I did a pressure test on the evap, flap test and N22 test, cleared codes, NO HELP! I was in front of the radiator with a cigarette in my mouth when the aux fans kicked in - the ashes blew out at me! The aux fans were runing backwards.I jumped out the plug pins from the aux battery tap and they ran in the correct direction. I then took apart the car harnnes plug at the aux fan connection (very simple, just be careful) and reversed the pins. The fansare now operating correctly and the a/c is much colder all the time especially when sitting and idle. Just an FYI for owners with similar problem. Chris.
