New E class?
Haha, aren't I the funny one? Actually, I have a follow up to this.
It is my observation that the release of a new model tends to have the effect of devaluing the previous; more than mileage and age alone. I think this is one of the main reasons that MBZ hold value well when compared to American and Japanese cars. The latter have to be new every 3 years so average Joe can show his neighbors how well he's doing (at going into debt for a depreciating item). Does anyone disagree, and why? I plan to sell or trade my 97 in two or three years, but don't want be hit by what I think is a coming 'dip' in the depreciation slope. Am I overthinking this?
