Hello, everyone,

I have a 1997 E320. I want to remove the factory stereo and put a new one with XM and Ipod capability built-in (so I don't have the mass of wires and hardward sticking out of the front of my dash). I would rather save the installation cost and do it myself but am not sure how difficult it is. A friend of mine said it was pretty easy but I wanted to get some MB owner's opinions regarding the best way to remove the trim to get to the existing stereo, mounting a new one, etc.

I appreciate any advice you can give me.
