Default Need help with oil filter on E320

Hello,
I bought a used 2001 E320 and I'm changing the oil for the first time and I have a couple questions:

1 It looks like the filter is on the drivers side of the engine in the front with a plastic cover on top. Does the top just unscrew? If so, which way counter clockwise or clockwise? Also, can I just use a regular oil filter wrench or do I need a special tool?

2 For draining the oil, do I just remove the plastic cover on the bottom and the drain plug is plainly visible?

3 For replacing the belt, it looks like the tensioner is on the drivers side above the compressor. It has a nut next to the pully and a torx screw on the outside. Which one do I use to move the tensioner and belt?

Thanks,
Vifa

1) Yeah, the oil filter cap is right infront of the oil cap. First remove the engine cover, just pull it off. Then turn the oil filter cap counterclockwise until it comes out. It would be easier to use a cup style oil filter wrench, but a regular oil filter wrench would work. I bought a universal oil filter car from walmart for $4 (it's orange). Remove the oil filter assembly, pull down the filter, remove the o rings, and replace everything with the new parts.

2) Yeah remove the plastic cover, it has 4 screws (8mm). The oil plug is 13mm. You'll need to jack the driver side, not the front of the car to get most of the oil out. I used about 8.5 quarts of Mobil 1 synthetic 0w-40.

Thanks,
Anyone have directions on changing the serpentine belt? I was just wondering if I put a wrench on the nut or the torx screw?
