Default Need Help

Hello Everyone,

Just the other day i was driving and it was raining. I was at a light making a right turn, as i made the turn my 99e320 for some reason spun out. My right rear tire slammed into the sidewalk. Nothing else was damaged. When the tow truck guy came he jacked it up and the right rear rim and tire dipped inwards toward the vehicle. He said that it is the ball joints and not the axle. Is that true? How much does it cost to replace the ball joints? I want to make sure that i dont get ripped off at the shop. Please Help. Thanks.

Do you have a heavy foot? The right rear tire hit the sidewalk hard after trying to turn right at a light? I'm having a problem picturing the action on that one. Did the car fish tail, sliding to the left first and then to the right?

The tires you have may be summer tires for dry roads. Not good for wet roads.

There could have been oil on the street from a spill, from the sun heating the road, or build up from leaky cars over time.

The rear ball joints could have been damaged. I don't know what the cost of repairs would be.

Yah it was from left to right. The ground was pretty wet.

You will probably need some of the rear links replaced. They come complete with the bushes installed, and then get your rear wheel alignment checked

On average, how much does that cost?
