hi im 16 from PA i just bought a 1992 mercedes E300 and somthing whent wrong with the transmission. it will go in reverse, but when i put it in drive the engine just revs and there is no movement. does anyone know exactly what the problem would be and if so more importantly how much it would be to fix it!! thanks

 

the teflon ring on the piston B2 inside is already defective or leaking.

overhaul the transmission.

you can take it to the dealer and ask them to diagnose the car and find what's exactly wrong with it, I got it for free, dunno how things run where you are at.
