i new few day ago that the mercedes 300e 88" may have an ASD. i wanted to ask howcould i know if my car's deffrention is ASD???

I don't know if this will help you, but if you take a look on eBay, you can find sensor mods that let you fool the oxygen sensor on your car into thinking it is cold air, which increases the timing. I have not actually tried one of these yet, but they claim to increase 20+ HP, and they only cost around $5. Just search for "sensor mod" and then sort the list to "lowest price first". Then email one of the suppliers and they'll find one for your car.
