Just to add . I just ran a diag. on the climate control and came up with these E codes. 1231(ECT sensor) Whats That?
1234( Sun sensor) Got that one!
1459(Series interface connection to instrument cluster) Huh?
How do these affect the operation of the climate control module?
Are they responsible for the current problems?
Thanks again people! Chas.

Incidentally ECT = Engine coolant temperature.
If your instrument pack is reading correctly then this is unl;ikely to be a cause since the same sensor is used and the data is trans via the CAN.

Hi Stuart, I had another post right before this one. Its about the heat reaching temperature, then shutting off. Only restart is to either turn off ignition and restart, or turn temp all the way to hi. Other temp settings do nothing. Thanks! Chas.
