Default Locked boot and disconnected battery

Hi everyone,

I have a Mercedes E220 (w211) built year 2005.

I was replacing the rear passanger side seatbelt and for that I disconnected the battery. Without noticing, I closed the boot and when I tried to open it, it will not open.

Neither manually with key nor with remote control I can get it open.
Can somebody suggest a way to open it? The battery is still disconnected. There is no current in car.

Cheers.

the blade key should work,,,usually insert the key turn it then push in.( actually i dont think your button pushes in on the tumbler.) since you have a pull handle to open the trunk. trunk should open. try turniing the key both directions. does the blade work in the front door?

It still does not work. The key turns properly when inserted (makes about 45* degrees turn)

The driver door works alright.

You could also try and hookup a jumper box to the terminals under the hood and hitting the trunk release button on the driver door.
