Question Light retaining moisture

I have a 2011 e350 Mercedes, One of the small round driving lights in the front lower valance will get a little moisture build up on the inside of the lense off and on, mostly after a rain storm. I sealed the outer edge of the lense with a small amount of clear silicone to see if that was where it was forming and it helped for a few weeks, now its back again. I heard years back that somebody drilled a tiny hole in the lense to let air in but I'm not sure if that will work. Anyone have any ideas or have had this problem before? Thanks
