Default Light problem on my 1997 E320

This seems to be happening slow. First, the left side marker light failed to come on sometime – which turned on the alarm on the dash – next time it worked. This morning the alarm came on and I noticed the side marker light was on,, but,, now the right side (passenger) small headlight, side marker and rear light are all off. Also – and I think this might be the key – the delay off (after you stop and car the lights stay on for a few minutes) stopped working. Once you turn the lights off – they are off. The right side turn signal, break and flasher light still work.

I’m thinking it could be a bad ground, a relay or possibly a bad bulb/

Any suggestions?
thanks
Lou

just replace the bulbs, your particular car blows bulbs frquently. Benz in general blow bulbs alot. usually youll fix one bulb and then another will blow out.

thanks - but all the bulbs are good.
Turned out to be a short in the headlight connector. Found a bad fuse and smoke came out of the connector. Looks like the clip holding the headlight back cover might of hit a frayed wire on the main bulb.

I'm going to a local junkyard today to see if they have the connector.
