lifter noise
I have an 86 300E which experiencing a lifter noise problem.
It will initially run for 15 mins or so without any noise then once I'm on the freeway it starts to make noise. The car would sound like a deisel engine. When I shut off the engine and wait 15 mins the noise will go away. Then come back again whenever the engine is hot.
