Default Ipod Integration issues

I recently put the OEM iPd integration kit in 04 E500. It works well, but the volume is about 75% of the CD player and Satellite Radio. Has any one else had and fixed this issue?

Do you have the IPOD volume itself set to the maximum? If you dont it will cause this issue.

could just be the fact that your mp3s aren't as good quality as the cds, actually. I've simply set the EQ on my ipod to more Bass and treble boost and it sounds awesome... though I should say that I still haven't finished the project of integrating the ipod into the command system as the video source, so it is likely I'll face more "interesting" issues. But for your intents and purposes, definitely try playing with the eq and definitely ask the service dept this question too - I'm pretty sure that factory ipod adapters have to runn problem-free by default. Otherwise what would be the point of overpaying for them?
