Default instrument lighting

I have a 2000 320. The night lighting on the HVAC control panel has quit working.

Everything else on the panel works fine. Is it possible to replace the light bulb(s) that do the backlighting or does the whole unit have to be replaced??

Looks like you will have to remove the wood cover and that may be a challenge not to break it.

Clearly not worth buying a whole unit just for the back light but if the light can be replaced they it's worth the effort.

Thanks

Travers

Most likely a burned out bulb. Around $6.00 at the dealer. But you will need the special tool to pull the panel. That tool is also used to pull the radio out.
