I am trying to diagnose a misfire on a '99 Mercedes E320 that my son recently inherited. The OBD says misfire on cylinder #3, but I suspect that more than one cylinder is at fault. I've swapped coil packs with wires and the problem appears to move with the pack. Do you have advice on how best to isolate coil problems from wire problems?
