idle adjustment te300
Normally, you have the idle control valve that should take care of that communicating to the ECU/Computer Brain, and to the MAS (Mass Air Sensor). They communicate together sending thousands of pulses/signals depending on engine load to maintain a smooth engine running. However, overtime, the Idle Control Valve could become faulty resulting in erratic too high or too low idling. There are associated components which could be at fault but mainly it could be the Idle Control Valve. One possible easy to replace thing is the Overload Protection Relay located close to the battery. Upon proper diagnosis, I could probably help you with used parts since these are very expensive when new.
