I was looking at a few used cars which were cheaper than usual, and on the Carfax, it showed that they had 2-3 previous owners of the E-Class. I assume that should drop the selling price, but by how much exactly? Hopefully, I'm trying to determine if a problem-vehicle is just being passed from one owner to another, or if the vehicle is fine, based simply on price.

how old is the car or cars you were looking at. SOmetimes especcially in the e320 case, most people dont want the hassle of maintaince and just sell the car, or trade it in for a newer model and then its resold. If the car is less than 5 years old with at least 3 owners, then something is up with the maintaince issues. hope this helps.
