2006 E350, 25,000 ml, Check oil level warning came on one month ago, dealer toped it of. Today, (about 1000 ml later) the warning came on again. Is this normal for this car? If it is not, what should I do? Car is still in warranty. Thanks a lot.

 

Really? Will this hurt the engine in the long run? One of my friends told me to run the car at 5000rpm for 10 minute, will this help? Thanks.

 

take it in as soon as possible. also make a big scene about how this should not be happening to a car with such low milage.....there have been issues with oil consumption and balance shafts..have them check everything. tell them you want an oil consumption test performed on the engine and the Engine Electronics scannned for codes. ASAP
