Guys, I am posting in the "General Tech" section to try to consolidate some info on manuals (Manuals for E Class). Please give a read, I would be very glad of any comments. Seems like this is a big Qu. for everyone who joins this forum. Maybe we can get the Admin to make this thread "sticky" so we don't have to keep going over it, 'cause I get the feeling that everyone is rather bored of answering the question.

Also and specifically I am having real difficulty finding info on the 400E. To the point where I am ordering 300E manuals. Hope they are the same and hope I don't have drive train problems. Anyone know of a manual for the 400E drive train? Would another 400 series do? What should I look for? ANY comments PLEASE.

 

the s 420 has the same engine as the 400 e you might wanna start there the suspension is from the sl and the trani is a enhanced 300e trani hope that helps also when looking for info tell whomever you have a 500e same car with a different engine diplacement
