Hi all - a newbie here!</P>


I am having a few issues since I ran thru a HUGE puddle last night <IMG src=smileys/smiley6.gif border="0">- ok so it was more like a mini lake... guess I was supposed to stay home instead of heading off to the hockey game last night as I had to get my SO to come out and jump the car and then stay behind me all the way home... he was less than thrilled about that <IMG src=smileys/smiley3.gif border="0">! </P>


I lost my lights and my radio andmy instrument panel<IMG src=smileys/smiley19.gif border="0">... had only the head lights and the heater for company. Tthe turn signals in front and the lights that sit by the headlights will still not work- city lights I think they are called... I just replaced all the fuses in the fuse box as most were shot after my puddle incident now everything is working but my city lights - am I missing something? </P>


Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.</P>

Have you checked the bulbs? Water may be in the sockets preventing them from working.

I went to the local Claridges (dealer) this AM and bought all new bulbs for the front - got the 2 head lights, the blinkers/parking lights and the 2 middle lights (bulbs with the wire attached) and replaced them along with all the fuses in the fuse box just to make sure everything was new and undamaged. Before I put them in, I took that canned air stuff and blew out the sockets to dry out what residual water may have been left in after my swim in the puddle lake <IMG src=smileys/smiley9.gif border="0">.</P>


Now the only thing that is not working is the 2 middle lights closest to the grill (the ones with the wire attached), andI have no manuals or anything (got the car used in 1999) so I cannot even tell what those lights are or where they have fuses or wires <IMG src=smileys/smiley6.gif border="0">... </P>


I guess my next stop my be my mechanic, just hoping thiswas ansmall easy to do fix, and I don't want to pay someone to change a fuse or bulb. Guess it may be more than that, like my water pump and head gasket <IMG src=smileys/smiley3.gif border="0">... </P>

Default Help with "headlights"

I think you may be talking about the fog lights (2 middle lights closest to the grill). Pull out on your light switch to see if they come on.
