[align=left] Have a 01 E320 and she is running rich . I got Autozone to scan for codes , and they found 8 codes.
What do these codes represent/mean? Thanks .

P0141-02 sensor
P0170-Fuel Trim Malfunction
P0173- Bank 2 (spark plug or wire?)
P0100-MAF-VAF
P0110- IAT Sensor (Circuit)
P0136-Bank1 sensor
P0156-Bank 2 sensor Malfunction
P0221-TPS Pedal Position Sensor

The codes for the MAF sensor can trigger the other emission related codes,So have them clear the codes,by hitting the erase codes button on the scanner,then go to benzworld.org w210 section and look in the diy tips section on cleaning the MAF with CRS maf cleaner,try that and if it works,great, if not then you most likely neeed a new maf insert, is far less then the whole unit and it's the part of the maf that is needed http://germanstar.net/210f.htm part#1120940048X about $138 with shipping.A bad maf will throw off the fuel demand curve and trip at times the o2 sensor and the intake air readings.Best bet it's that...
How have you decided it's running rich?Has your Check engine light come on?Information please!!!!

Some of the codes are manf.specific but most on the E series are generic link to codes http://www.clearcodes.com ,95% of the time if the light is on and you pull a p0170 and p0173 even tho they relate to fuel trim and not the maf circuit p0100 which you also show,95% it is the maf.
Go to the diy,it's easy,cheap part,and will solve the problem.
P.S. have you ever done the plugs change you asked about months ago,if not go to benzworld.org diy section and my posts on spark plug change ,you should have no problems,and never ever pull on the wires!!!!!!!!!!!

 

I saw that there was a little black smoke coming out the tailpipe (running rich) and yes..I did change the spark plugs back then @100k. I think it may be time to check the wires and coils...to see if they are in good condition.[] Thanks 4 da info...I'll check to see if the info you gave works...Thanx a lot!!!

Is the CEL on or not?clean the maf before you go into checking wires and coils,If they were bad you would be showing a misfire on multiple cylinders code or codes which you are not.Do the maf,fix the problem.......

No...the CEL is not on registered for mbworld to look for diy on MAF cleaning and found it This forum is very helpful and informative...glad there are some knowledgable people in it. Shout out to Ohlord!!!! Thanks 4 da info that the stealership wont tell you! thanks a mil!
