have i done the right thing...newbie
well i have done an impulse thing. i have purchased an M car. after years of telling mates that i would never buy a car that started with M i did.
why......well i wanted a nice quiet drive, a bit of power, leg room as i am 6 foot. so it is either going to be my first or last.
it is a 1997 e320 with 78000 km on it. will pick it up in 10 days.
i like to do my own repairs/service if i can, so is there a good manual/cd i can buy any where. owner manual is missing so may need some help on the gadget thing.
so hit me guys, good or bad, the deal is done
thanks.

Not sure about NZ, but here in the US, you can buy a complete repair DVD from MBUSA for around 99USD. It has everything you need for repairing your vehicle.
Also, in the US, you can get onto the EPC (electronic parts catalog) for free. www.epc.startecinfo.com. Not sure if it is free in NZ, or if it even works with NZ VINs.
As for the owners manuals, you should be able to buy those from MB, but I have had good luck with buying complete owner's manuals in the leather pouch on EBay.
