Default fuel economy

hey guys, i have a 93 mercedes 400e and im supposed to get 18 miles a gallon in the city, but i only get around 13. Is there anything out there that i can do to increase my fuel economy?

Clean your MAF, bump up your tires to 32front 38 rear,use oem size tires on light alloy wheels,new air filter,check your plugs,and draft behind semi's

Clean the MAF for sure, clean engine air filter is important, proper tire pressure, also go to an auto store and get some stuff to put into your gas tank to get rid of the carbon build up in the engine. They generally run under $5 and you will immediately notice a difference in fuel economy. becareful to not use it too often tho.
I'm sure you know this already...but don't red line it all the time. [8D]
