I replaced all my brakes on my 2006 CDI last month.
In the owners manual on page 99 for mine it tells when the SBC
brake are active and when they are not active.
I made sure that I turned off the tow alarm and opened the brake cap
so when I pushed the pistons back in the pressure would not build up.
All doors and hood and trunk stayed closed.
I locked the doors and put the keys up until I was done.
After I was done as soon as I opened the door the SBC started.
Check your owners manual to make sure that you understand when the SBC is on and when its not other than that is a easy job.
