Hello to all. Recently, my 2006 E500 Wagon's front end has begun to chatter when I turn right or left severely. ie pulling into parking spots. She's a 4 Matic so I assumed it was the CV joints. During her last oil change, however, my mechanic said the CV joints were tight and the boot was intact...Any ideas as to what it may be?

 

most likely the transfer case!! yup! those cars had issues with that, get it flushed first then renew with new oil. then drive it again..noise should go away.
