Default Front Wheel Bearing Removal Problem

All,

I am trying to replace the front wheel bearing on my 97 E320.I amhavingtroubleremoving thewheel hub. I even tried a puller to no avail (brake caliper and rotor has been removed, and the axle retaining nut has been removed). Is there any special procedure or special tool to get the front wheel hub/bearing out of an E320.

Is it normal to use a puller to get the wheel hub off the E320? Or does it just slide out?

Thanks in advance,

FYI - I ended up removing the entire spindle. Even the machine shop can not remove the bearing. It siezed pretty good on the spindle.

How do you lube the bearings? Is there a zirc, or do I have to remove the brake rotor?
